Studio Conveniently Located In

274DF38D 2735 4F87 9C78 0D655200815DHi, I'm Christine Alward and welcome to my website. I have been a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! since December 2009, and I love paper crafting and card making.

I love to make people feel good and happy about their accomplishments, big or small, and I can never get enough of the smiles and pride I see on my customers' faces when they look at a finished project.

So many have told me that they have no creativity or talent when it comes to crafting, and all I would ask them is to give it a try and let me prove them wrong. Watching happy clients of all ages leave my classes with their finished cards and projects is what I like best about my job as independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I hope you will find inspiration in the projects I present here and that you will join me in my studio for a class.

Is Joining Stampin’ Up! right for me?

3F200FF3 B0B6 47AB 8D95 68FD38383CABThere are two types of Stampin' Up! demonstrators,

The Hobbyist  who enjoys the discounts and stays "current" by meeting the quarterly minimum through personal purchases along with some sales to a few creative stamping family members and/or friends.

The Career Demo is planning to run this as a business, offering classes, workshops, parties & events and actively selling Stampin' Up! product and maybe recruit new demonstrators to build his/her own team.

About 80% of Stampin' Up! demonstrators are hobbyists. Everyone is welcome to join and Stampin' Up! offers a lot of benefits and incentives to both, the hobbyist and the career demo. My current team mainly consists of hobbyists. I understand their mindsets and will support each one to the extend they are comfortable with.
I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator since 2009, and although I had my ups and downs with my little business, I would not trade my current status for any other job.

Benefits of becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator

If you plan on purchasing Stampin' Up! products it does make sense to join as a hobbyist. Right from the beginning you will receive 20% off any product purchases. You get a fabulous quarterly magazine called Stampin Success with lots of ideas and information inside and you will be able to join Stampin' Connection (web site just for demonstrators), pre-order new products, get access to videos, templates and many other things.
SU Demonstrators will earn Stampin' Rewards, if their orders reach more than $200.

Meeting Your Quarterly Minimum

When you join you get extra time to buy or sell until the end of your second quarter, which starts either on 1 Jan, 1 Apr, 1 Jul or 1 Oct, depending on your start-date.  For example, if you join on 6 Jan and wish to stay current or active as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, you will need to buy or sell just short of $400 in merchandise by 30 June to meet your quarterly minimum. Keep in mind that any of your personal orders will be discounted by 20% before shipping and tax. Your $400 goal will actually cost you $320, if you were your only customer, 20% of any customer orders will constitute your income from Stampin' Up!
If for some reason you go into pending status the month following a quarter, I will see how I can help pull you out during that time. If you decide this not for you we just don't make it up in the pending month and your demo status goes away. No questions asked. I would then look forward to stay in touch with you through your further creative journey.

Note: Anything you buy or sell after you join/purchase the Starter Kit counts towards qualifying you for your first quarter!
